Reportedly, Newcastle United and Leeds United are interested in securing the services of Petar Sucic from Inter Milan. The Croatian international, aged 22, has been impressing at the Italian club since joining them and has contributed significantly to their success. As per Sports Witness, the two English clubs have initiated discussions with Inter Milan regarding the possibility of acquiring the midfielder. Inter Milan, however, is unwilling to permit his departure, valuing Sucic highly as a crucial player for their future plans. With Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan approaching the twilight of their careers, the young Croatian midfielder is focused on contributing to big club successes.
Unsurprisingly, Sucic is not pushing for a move and the situation will not be easy for Newcastle or Leeds United to clinch the deal. Inter Milan is a top-tier football club with a strong culture of winning titles, which Newcastle and Leeds United are unable to offer. It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds.
