Globe Deploys AI-Powered Voice Security to Protect Customers' Data

GLOBE TELECOM, Inc. has partnered with e& Carrier & Wholesale Services (C&WS), the wholesale arm of global technology and telecommunications company e&, to strengthen its international voice services.

“This partnership marks an important step in strengthening Globe’s international voice business for the future,” Globe Chief Commercial Officer Darius Jose R. Delgado said in a media release on Tuesday.

Under the agreement, Globe will deploy artificial intelligence (AI)-driven voice technology to strengthen its international network, improve service reliability, and help protect calls from fraud.

The company said Globe’s local market position, combined with e&’s global reach and expertise, will enhance its international direct dialing services.

“We are enhancing the security, quality, and reliability of international voice services for our partners and customers. More importantly, we are building a stronger foundation for innovation and long-term collaboration across the global telecommunications ecosystem,” Mr. Delgado said.

The partnership includes the integration of AI-powered voice firewalls into Globe’s network, enabling real-time traffic monitoring, intelligent fraud detection, and advanced analytics to help protect international voice traffic.

“By strengthening international voice capabilities across key markets, Globe aims to provide more dependable communication services that help Filipinos stay connected with their families and communities,” the company said.

Globe added that the collaboration will provide global carrier partners with a more secure and transparent network for handling international voice traffic.

e&, formerly known as Etisalat, is a technology and telecommunications company based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It operates across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe.
