California lifeguard Ryder Williams, 16, performed an incredible feat when he rescued a young boy from dangerous waves in Seabright State Beach on Saturday.
Despite being overwhelmed with national attention, Ryder maintains a humble attitude, stating that what he did was just part of his job as a Santa Cruz County Parks Junior Guard trainee.
Following the viral rescue, Ryder's mother urged readers to support the Santa Cruz County Parks Junior Guard program instead of trying to financially benefit Ryder personally.

As previously reported by The Gateway Pundit, President Trump delivered a statement in response to Ryder's bravery. The President stated that the teenager would receive a prestigious "High Civilian Honor," although he did not disclose which award would be presented.
After the rescue video rapidly spread across social media, President Trump's announcement added to the excitement surrounding Ryder's heroic act.
