Two low‑pressure systems are being monitored inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, one of which is expected to bring thunderstorms across Luzon.
The system within the area was last located near Baao, Camarines Sur, while the other lies 1,580 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas.
Neither low‑pressure area is expected to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
The system inside the area will bring scattered rains and thunderstorms across large parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, the Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Romblon, and Marinduque.
Flash floods and landslides are possible as moderate to heavy rains affect these regions.
Easterly winds may bring thunderstorms over Cagayan, Isabela, the Cordillera Administrative Region, the Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
Authorities warn that severe thunderstorms could trigger flash floods and landslides in these areas.
