The Philippine Economic Zone Authority has signed a supplemental agreement to expand the Suntrust Ecotown Tanza-Special Economic Zone in Cavite by 331,348 square meters.
The expansion follows a proclamation by the President that added the area to the economic zone, also known as an ecozone. This move is expected to attract more investments and boost exports.
The expanded ecozone is set to generate additional jobs and increase the number of registered enterprises. Currently, the ecozone hosts 65 registered businesses and supports more than 7,900 direct workers.
