It is built around a five‑point reform agenda that prioritizes teacher quality and support, school infrastructure and safety upgrades, improvement of educational outcomes, evidence‑based policymaking, and the preparation of future‑ready graduates.
Key investment areas highlighted by the platform include classroom and learning space infrastructure, safe‑school initiatives, and work‑immersion programs for senior‑high students.
Under the Adopt‑a‑School Act and related revenue regulations, donors may deduct up to 150 percent of their donation expenses from taxable income, providing a significant incentive for contributions.
Donors are encouraged to focus assistance on the 20 poorest provinces identified by the Presidential Council for Countryside Development, with support ranging from staff training to the modernization of instructional technologies.
With 192 active partner organizations already involved, the agency urges additional private companies, nonprofits, and civil society groups to join the initiative and help raise the standard of public basic education nationwide.
