300 exhibitors are slated to attend the 2026 Philippine Travel Mart, a key event aimed at boosting domestic tourism across the country.
Cecille May Kimpo highlighted that the event will feature exclusive travel deals, including on‑site flash promotions and significant discounts from airlines, travel agencies, and tour operators.
The three‑day expo, running from September 4 to 6, will allow visitors to compare packages from luxury resorts, hotels, and major airline partners all in one venue.
Kimpo added that many of the offers, such as up to 50% off vacation packages, will not be available online and can only be accessed at the travel mart.
President Maria Lourdes Flor Japson said the 37th edition seeks to introduce a “new chapter” in Philippine tourism, centered on sustainability, digitalization, inclusivity, and health and wellness.
The event will spotlight emerging destinations including the Zamboanga Peninsula, Marinduque, Quezon Province, and Misamis Oriental.
Last year’s travel mart drew 53,600 attendees and generated 240 million pesos in on‑site sales over its three days.
