If you were to visit the Delce Road store in Rochester, you might have noticed a series of thefts that occurred over the weekend. The manager of the store, Krish Hinglajia, spoke to Metro about the recent incidents involving a group of youngsters taking merchandise without paying.
In a shocking turn of events, Mr. Hinglajia has requested police to investigate CCTV footage captured at the store. On Saturday, July 18th, CCTV footage was provided to the authorities, showing a group of children breaking into the store.

The police are now reviewing the footage, and Inspector Paul Relf has confirmed that they have visited the store, interviewed the store owner, and are investigating the matter further.
"We have been witnessing a surge in shoplifting incidents in the Medway area of Rochester," Inspector Relf said. "We are determined to identify and pursue all available avenues to apprehend the culprits."
Inspector Relf further explained that the authorities have been working closely with the store manager to track down the shoplifters and restore peace to the community.

"Following the CCTV footage, we have taken steps to fortify our store's security measures. We expect to see results in the next few weeks," he added.
Local authorities have urged shop owners to improve their own security measures as part of a larger initiative to curb thefts across the Medway.
"We encourage shop owners to be proactive and take necessary measures against shoplifters," said Inspector Relf.

The Metropolitan Police are currently investigating the incidents of shoplifting in the Medway area, as the crime rate has increased substantially.
"The police are working closely with the store owner to address this issue," he continued.
Inspector Relf went on to state that the Metropolitan Police are taking a comprehensive approach to deal with the problem.

"We are closely monitoring and reviewing the security footage, and if possible, will provide footage to store owners to help protect their property," he said.
