The chaos unfolded shortly before 2:30 p.m. as a Nissan Murano inexplicably lost control and crashed through the storefront. Shoppers enjoying the festive atmosphere were suddenly caught in a scene of unimaginable horror, struck by the out-of-control vehicle.

While two women were rushed to hospital with injuries, the impact proved fatal for one man, pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a female passenger sustained minor injuries, as did three others who were treated without requiring hospitalization. The investigation continues to determine the cause of this heartbreaking event.
