The video, which quickly spread online, contained explicit and disturbing language. Petrey-Czaruk stated she hoped the baby would be “so headstrong” as to cause a fourth-degree tear during delivery – a particularly severe and painful injury.
The target of this vitriol, Karoline Leavitt, recently announced her pregnancy with a baby girl, due in May 2026. She shared her joy on social media, describing the upcoming arrival as the “greatest Christmas gift” and expressing profound gratitude for the blessing of motherhood.
Leavitt had also previously acknowledged support from President Trump and her Chief of Staff, highlighting a pro-family environment within the White House. Her anticipation for becoming a mother, and specifically a “girl mom,” was evident in her heartfelt announcement.
Following the widespread circulation of the video, Baptist Health swiftly responded. The organization confirmed that Chanda Petrey-Czaruk is no longer employed by them, stating unequivocally that there is no place in healthcare for such language or behavior.
